High Security Number Plates in coming in Action in Hyderabad.
A Notification is expected to come up in city in couple of days :-
a) HSNP - High Security Number Plate Process for implementation in City
b) High Security Registration Plate Fees for 2 Wheelers, 3 Wheelers, Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles yet to be announced, however it will most likely be on similar platform as in Pan India. Fees expected to in between with Rs. 250 - 300 for HSRP affixation for passenger cars
c) Implementation Process for New Cars and Old Cars
d) The Authorized Agency for High Security Plates yet to be finalized, however HSNP Plates would be made at Miyapur in Hyderabad
e) Its expected that apart from RTO, there will be some designated centers which will be set up for affixation of high security plates
