I think high security no plate s mandatory.. but if we see the timing of RTO its monday to friday 10 to 1 ... I dont have even a single min to go to RTO to get it.. Timing has to change.. may b in evening or on weekend also..
ReplyDeleteyes you are right, because private sector has no timing for this, and we are triying it but rto office people say its not the serice to punch the plates, so how we know the date and time of our vehicle for punch thee plates
DeleteWhen a new two, three or four wheeler is registered this exercise of the correct size and font of the numbers and alphabets of the plates should be checked in the respective RTO offices to avoid confusion with the public. The high security number plate should also be done at the same time of registration and if necessary make the owner of the vehicle go over to the RTO office.

Supreme Court being the apex court of the Country if it opines that its orders will prevent thefts of vehicles accidents, save lives etc., immediately hands over an order for implementation all over India with in a prescribed time schedule without assessing the ground realities and burden to the people. Making High Security Number Plates mandatory is one such. When compared to the number of vehicles sold the thefts do not constitute even a negligible %. The number of thefts during 2012 in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkatta, Chennai and Hyderabad put together is 6,356. This order creates a big financial burden to the owners of motor vehicles. Peculiarly the RTC Buses, Govt.owned vehicles etc., appear to have been excluded from this mandatory requirement. This is an additional tool to the traffic police to fine the people and encourages corruption. Long time back Supreme Court banned smoking in public places, but there is proper implementation of this even in Supreme Court premises. I found lawyers and several others smoking on the corridors of Supreme Court and several other courts. Passive smoking affects the health of several people but no one cares this. Wearing helmets is compulsory. Even Police do not respect this. Fastening seatbelts was compulsory for some time in Hyderabad and it was given a go bye, because the Police Officials, politicians etc., are violating this and they cannot fine or collect bribe, so they are not insisting on this. For vehicles there is insurance and if the vehicle is stolen they can get back the cost. If HSNP is there and vehicle is stolen is the Govt. compensating the loss so that another vehicle can be acquired?
ReplyDeleteonline application submission / payment should me implemented
ReplyDeleteHlo sir
ReplyDeleteM just the issue in number plate. Agencies confirmed number plate will come in minimum 20 days as per us given request and they charge for that 400 rupees. They didn't give proof to pay for it they just saying only we will call u when number plate is ready, M very disappointed.
